We're excited to introduce ArchForge Horizon 12.3, bringing a refreshed experience, improved developer profiles, unified branding, and powerful desktop improvements. Our goal is to continue building a modern, independent alternative to GitHub where developers can create, collaborate, and share their work in a secure and user-friendly environment.
One of the improvements in this release focuses on public developer profiles. Visitors can now explore developer profiles without needing to create an account or sign in. This includes viewing personal README pages, public repositories, projects, development activity, contributions, achievements, and followers. We've also addressed an issue that could redirect visitors to the login page when accessing public profiles. Private information and account management features remain protected.
ArchForge Horizon 12.3 also introduces a more consistent visual identity across the entire platform. From the homepage and dashboard to repositories, developer profiles, and authentication pages, we've improved the overall appearance to deliver a cleaner, more modern, and professional experience. The updated ArchForge branding is also reflected in our desktop application, creating a recognizable identity across both platforms.
Another important improvement is the introduction of ArchForge Desktop 1.6.0. This version brings updated branding and a new automatic update system designed to make future upgrades easier. With user approval, supported updates can be downloaded, securely verified, installed, and followed by an automatic application restart. This helps reduce the need for manual installation while keeping users in control of the update process.
We're also introducing ArchForge Updates Studio, a dedicated space for platform announcements, development news, security improvements, and upcoming features. Users can stay informed about the latest changes and subscribe to email updates to receive important announcements directly in their inbox. This makes it easier for our community to follow the continued development of ArchForge.
Security remains one of our priorities. We continue working on improving account protection, authentication, repository security, and software update verification. Our goal is to provide developers with a reliable environment where they can confidently manage their projects and collaborate with others.
ArchForge is more than just a place to store code. We're building a platform focused on developers, creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
